Comments
General Comments:
Secondary channel drains to Mokelumne Basin waters. Impacts dispersed. Erosion minimal, but livestock can cause further localized impacts. Road access is an asset and perhaps a liability. Headcuts: 1. HC1: Channel network eroding potential here; this area is most evidently grazed. 2. HC2: This is at an extreme topographic change in gradient. Large stones and and wood create in-channel grade control. 3. HC3: Most extreme example of erosion and deposition. May only migrate several more yards because it is near the top of the drainage, and will likely deepen.
